This hospital has served my family for 30 years, and in all this time and different members of the family being admitted, we have always received very good care. I was admitted on Xmas day 2012, and after being admitted to ward 10 I was given everything I need in the way of toiletries and clothing. My treatment was very thorough and I was involved in all the procedures, everything was explained to me as it happened and the consultant, treated me like his old friend. He left no stone unturned as he guided me through the procedures and this put me completely at ease, removing any anxiety I had. The nursing staff were great, it's amazing how the light hearted banter can make the day go well and I had some really humorous times, they say laughter is a good medicine and I would endorse that. I find that if we the patient make the effort to get on with those around us then it is well rewarded. The food was good too and I was always satisfied. I can recommend this hospital to anyone.
