"Anthony Letchworth ward"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

Anything else?

I was very well treated in this ward when I underwent a mastectomy and breast reconstruction. Nothing was too much trouble for the nursing and auxiliary staff who were unfailingly good-humoured and cheerful, able to anticipate my needs and quick to respond to my buzzer.

I should be grateful if my appreciation could be passed on to the staff involved, particularly at this time when there is so much criticism of the NHS and the way patients are treated. My experience was entirely positive.
