Following 2 outpatients appointments, I was admitted to SAL in September for day case gynae surgery. I was treated with the utmost care and respect by all members of staff I came into contact with. My sincere thanks to them all.

The only questionable moment, was during a telephone call to my consultant's secretary when she insisted on telling me about how stressed she was at work and how she had only just returned back to work following a period of sickness due to stress. I really did not wish to hear about that! She was abrupt and unhelpful in her manner. This does not detract from the excellent care I received both as an outpatient and an inpatient.
