"Day Surgery for an Elderly Relative"

I visited Yeatman Hospital with my 80 year old mother in law for day surgery to remove a small cancerous growth. Parking was easy, as well as being able to stop at the door. The staff were welcoming and very helpful, e.g, the porter helped us find the lift as my m-i-l had limited mobility. The day unit was quiet and peaceful, withhelpful and attentive staff.

The staff were very good at taking time to explain what they were going to do, and procedure was completed efficiently.

We were both very pleased with our experience of patient care at the Yeatman.

PS The Castleton Day Unit is not listed in the department list, so i have ticked "don't know" as the closest option.
