"Very good care at North Tyneside A&E"

I was admitted to the A&E at the North Tyneside General hospital. I thought it only right, given the many criticisms levelled against hospitals theses days, that I should inform you of the fact that I was immensely impressed by the aforementioned department, and exceedingly grateful for what they did for me. Given that it had been 40 years since I was last an in-patient, I can tell you that it was a revelation to be treated as a human being, and always with courtesy and kindness by all staff, including non-medical personnel. The staff who I saw epitomise all that is best in the NHS today and are a credit to North Tyneside General.
