"Mostly good care on ward 63"

About: Southern General Hospital / Neurosurgery

(as the patient),

I had neurosurgery at Southern General Hospital and the doctors were wonderful and 98% of the nurses brill.

However there was 1 in particular who left me without pain relief and contorted, I ended up spending about 3 days in tears. I didn't know who this nurse was until another patient told me who it was.

It's a pity because it leaves patients with such a bitter taste and tarnishes the good name of the other really kind considerate nurses.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to provide your feedback.

I am sorry that this posting was not acknowledged at the time, we had a break in our use of Patient Opinion, but we have now resumed doing so, and I thought it was still important to acknowledge your posting.

I have passed your comments on to the manager responsible for these services to share your experience with local staff.
