"Thank you North Tyneside General C.C.U"

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all at the North Tyneside General C.C.U for the care they have taken in looking after our daughter Rebecca. We can hardly believe that she has made such a remarkable recovery.

Rebecca was extremely anxious and afraid of going into hospital but she was always treated with patience, dignity and respect, and for that we are most grateful. As soon as Rebecca was admitted to the C.C.U, we felt that she was being looked after very well. Every question and situation was dealt with much professionalism. After her admission to the Heart hospital it became very clear that you had prepared her well for surgery.

We would also like to pass on our thanks to Amy the S.H.O who was so kind and gentle to Rebecca - we wish her well in her career.

Our thanks also go to the Sister and Charge Nurse on ward 15 who accepted us, as anxious parents, and allowed us such flexible visiting hours. During the dark days before Rebecca went to London for surgery the staff worked hard to keep her comfortable and reassured.

These days it seems that so much criticism is made of the NHS. However in our experience, it has never let us down. We feel that the staff who work so hard in often very stressful situations, deserve immense praise.
