Anything else?
The majority of the Care is done by Staff Nurses where English is not the first language, they have no power and depend on the Doctors when they turn up for advice on simply things. The wards are cold and old with the blankets for older people awful, so thin. I observed patients being ignored. Everyone was given the same medication it was for ease, I dont not know how in the 21st Centrury come Friday there seem to be a skeleton staff of consultant/doctors, they need to be brought up to date with the money they are being paid and recognise they should be a full compliment of Doctors whether its Monday or Sunday. Staff Nurses seem to carry the burden, and really dont know much about the cases. Common sense really does nor prevail here. I am totally disgusted by this hospital I dont feel proud of this NHS hospital. Staff need a real sharp shock on why they are employed and the reason they joined nursing.
