I visited the treatment service with my son for a routine operation on Friday, all the staff from reception, nurses anaethatists and the consultant were very friendly and the care and service he received from them was fantastic. I was very thankful to the receptionist who kept me up to date with what was happening with him throughout his operation, as i had to wait in the waiting area whilst his procedure was underway. The lady didn't have to do this for me she was very busy, but as an anxious mum I really appreciated this and she made the experience much better so thank you for that. The nurses that dealt with him in recovery we're lovely, caring and very professional they made us feel really looked after and are a credit to the NHS, they made the patient journey very pleasant, a big thank you to you all for that.
