About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) (London)

Anything else?

On the first night of my operation on my right lung, the drain tube got detached as a result my face and body swole up, the swelling was due to air getting into my body which I think is injury emphysema this happened especiallly to my face and hands. I think the drain tube was not fitted correctly because it happened on first night and the third night as well. having said that I am recovering after my operation. As a consequence I spent two extra days in hospital for the swelling to subside, and I wonder if this was an avoidable situation. other than this I have no complaints to make
