About: Royal Papworth Hospital (Papworth Everard)

Anything else?

i had a 3 hours opp for cardiac alation and atrial flutter,i am a fit competative sports cyclist, its now 6 months and after a lot of initial trouble with bad palpatations and even being cardio verted,i am now once again fit and healthy,i am 52 years old and have had the onset on atrial fibrilation since i was 35,it became paroxsysmal and every other day in the end.I was treated by a consultant, and i only have the highest praise for him and his staff,he personaly give me constant advise and help to get me through the unbearable first 3 weeks, without this i would have gone mad! i initialy saw two other doctors, once again, the highest praise for these guys, they encouraged and advised an ablation, and it was the right choice,i have a new lease of life now due to these doctors and there hospital.please, never doubt them, they really saved ne from a life heart drugs and misery.....i owe them everything!
