"My dad as a patient on coronary care unit"

About: Northern General Hospital / Cardiology Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust

(as a relative),

My dad was rushed to the coronary care unit this weekend after having a heart attack at home. I want to say what a excellent nhs team we have right from the paramedic who was on the scene first, then the ambulance men and the team of nurses and doctors on the coronary care unit. Within three hours of it all beginning, my dad was in coronary care unit stented and back with us on the ward.

I can't thank you all enough for your swift actions that resulted in you saving my dad's life. As a nhs worker myself, I am so proud of my colleagues for their excellent care and skills

Thank you for your kind words regarding the Coronary Care Unit at the Northern General Hospital and the care that your father received there. It is always encouraging for staff to receive positive feedback and we will ensure that this is passed onto those staff involved.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact us and we hope that your father continues to make a good recovery following his treatment.
