From the doctor and the cardiology team, the surgical team, to the nursing team in CICU and on Ward 31, the care and consideration of all the staff involved in my treatment was exceptional and of the highest professional standards. Particularly impressive was the way they all provided a high level of integrated care and managed to work as an effective team even when under some pressure. All staff at all times managed to treat patients, relatives and other staff members in an appropriate manner and with respect no matter what the circumstances. Inevitably I will have missed out someone who contributed to my care such as Catering, Porters, Cleaners, Physiotherapists, Radiographer’s etc. It’s just not possible to remember every one, but all were exceptional.
