"Staff good but phone system needs to be repaired"

Staff have always been great but the phone system just does not work! Got text for appt and when rang contact number, the line just went dead. Rang the hospital main line and selected option 2 for physio appts - line went dead. Rang main line again and hung on for operator who said that she would put me through direct to physio - waited for 5 mins of constant ringing before operator returned and said they would not answer so tried different extension - same again! She then said that she would transfer me across to main outpatients desk and they could give me the correct time of appt. Got through and was told that they could not help and that they would put me through to physio - I pleaded with her not to do this as I would not get through, but she insisted, saying that she could see the physio desk and there was someone there, so I accepted - after a few rings, it went dead. I rang the main line again and pressed option 4 for outpatients again but got through to Podiatry, who said there must be something wrong with the phone and put me through to Outpatients reception, which rang for ages and then went dead! I just gave up at that point, feeling completely defeated, tired and frustrated - please fix your pesky phone system so that others do not get this sort of reception. Cheers.
