About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

What I liked

Norfolk & Norwich NHS Trust have shown Excellent care and attention of my Father before and after Christmas due to Heart and Kidney failures.

From Acute Medical through to Langley Ward on the first visit and Hethel Ward on the second; the attention and continuity of recovery was apparent everyday.

Sharing of information with explanation was a great help as his life was saved and the family were worried, but reassured as we were assisted in preparing home return-properly.

Small matter I know but even the value and convenience of parking is essential during anxious times with toilet, cleansing and refreshment facilities really appreciated!

Thank you. Always.

What could be improved

Tricky, as I did it myself to my shame with apology to those concerned:

As a member of the public-albeit a family member keen to see his ailing Father;

I wondered into resuscitation areas before asking and was promptly asked to wait!

(It is us visitors that need restraining the most and clearly get in the way...)

Anything else?

Well managed with unconditional and professional people who 'get it'.

Thanks.

Thank you for sharing information about your Father's stay in hospital. The ward teams are always pleased to hear feedback from patients and their families.
