May I suggest that paramedics, when taking patients to hospital, bring all their current medication (as they did when recently taking me to the Queen's Medical Centre), as then it is not necessary for the hospital to give more medication to the patients when they discharge them.
I make the above comments in good faith and not as a criticism, as any savings on a national basis would be beneficial to the NHS.
