"Attended non-existent appointment"

I had a phone call telling me to attend an appointment with an E. N.T. specialist at Tavistock Hospital. However after a short discussion with the receptionist, I found out that the appointment did not exist.

This was a terrible inconvenience for me with me taking time away from work, and driving to and from Plymouth and Tavistock. The ongoing problem I have is only getting worse.

I am most disappointed and expect the Hospital to address this and ensure nobody else has the same misfortune.

I still need to see a doctor.
