What could be improved

I was admitted for observation, for a couple of days and on discharge told an MRI scan would be arranged as an outpatient. This never happened, and I had to 'chase' for nearly 5 months before this scan was finally arranged. I was told that no one had 'bothered' to arrange the scan as promised on discharge.

I have now been told based on the result of the scan I need major surgery. I have been in pain since March and only now receiving the treatment I need. Very poor
