What I liked
I would like to draw your attention to the excellent care provided by the team on Ward 7. Not only were they caring and considerate to the relatives, they showed care and compassion to the patients, treating all with individuality and dignity. Nothing was too much trouble and although busy always had time to speak to patients individually and time to help those in distress be they patients or relatives.
We feel it is important you are made aware of the excellent care as so much publicity is given to the elderly who are left dirty, hungry and thirsty. Ward 7 should be used as an example of 'how it should be done' we hope you will pass on our congratulations and thanks to all of the staff on Ward 7 for going that bit further than there contracted job.
Anything else?
Although our Mother was not able to make discisions we were included in everything as she would have wanted.
"The who team ethos was that of helping from ward..."
