What I liked

On Christmas Eve I called an ambulance as my 15 month old daughter had a fit at home. The ambulance came very quickly and the crew were fantastic. We were treated very quickly at the Friarage and with exceptional care and compassion. I had both of my children at this hospital and I cannot praise it highly enough, it is so clean and all of the staff are wonderful.

I would really like to thank the 999 operator who took my call, I was very worried at the time and probably wasn't very cooperative but she was so calm and reassuring. I can't find a way of doing this so I would be grateful if there is any way if passing this on.

It may interest you to know the trust runs a ‘Thank You Award’ scheme where NHS colleagues, patients and relatives can nominate staff in recognition of their work. These are presented throughout the year for acts above the call of duty or where staff have shown exceptional kindness towards patients and their relatives.
