What I liked
My mom was transfered from the Queen Elizabeth hospital on the 20th Dec 2012, this was so a keyhole operation could be performed.
All of her stay was spent on ward 4H, all of the staff involved in her care were excellent. The wards were very clean as was bedding, gowns and equipment.
I also liked the fact that visitors were not able to sit on the chairs next to the beds as these were reserved for patients only, this then stops the transfer of any germ which could cause illness. I also observed all staff at all times washing hands, using hand gels and also using clean gloves and aprons for each patient.
The food options were of a good variety, however for my mom who has food intolerance issues one nights options were limited. But overall all meals were nice
What could be improved
The only improvement i would make concerns the pilows as i felt they were quite small (about cushion size).
Relating to food maybe the option of a plain salad at lunch or dinner would be a good idea as my mom found having two cooked meals a day, a little too much as she is required to eat small light meals. However the food that was available was very nice.
"Good"
