It is nigh on impossible to get an appointment at my surgery. the phone lines open at 8am, before that there is an answerphone where no message can be left. the other day at 8.03 the answerphone was switched off and after that I dialled in the region of 30 times to get an engaged tone. Finally at 8.08 the phone was answered and I was told that there were no more appointments left for the lady doctor I wished to see. I asked how to get an appointment and was told I have to ring earlier although it wasnt explained to me how this was possible.
When a person works are they exptreced to stay at home for days on end trying to get an appointment? That is surely ludicrous?
