"Excellent nurses care but disappointed with x-ray..."

What I liked

The nurse at the walk in centre was wonderful with my young son. She went above the call of duty to reassure him and be kind.

What could be improved

The woman who operated the x-ray was not reassuring or kind to my son. She didn't even make eye contact with him or engage with him directly except to tell him off for moving slightly. She really should have explained what she was doing, he was made anxious by her behaviour and the process took longer as he moved his hand from where she had put it to search me out behind the screen. If she'd taken the time to talk to him and explain this wouldn't have happened. The x-ray room is an intimidating place for a hurt 4 year old its a big room with strange machines and mummy gets sent away where she can't be seen. The people who operate the machines really should realise this regardless of the time pressure they are under its not fair to take it out on a scared, hurt 4 year old.

Anything else?

We kept getting lost going from one waiting area to another and different rooms, it's a bit of a maze to someone unfamiliar with the layout.
