The NHS at its best - I was moved by the fantastic service!
I was referred to the orthotics department at Dorchester County Hospital and told it would be six weeks. Six weeks later, I walked into the department for my appointment, 15mins early, only to be called before I even sat down!
The very kind and professional D. G. listened to my situation and we discussed the options. I walked away with the replacement orthotics I needed for my feet and a neck brace!
Quite gob-smacked how brilliant the NHS can be, and what a good service it provides! The three-year open referral system is so practical - what the patient needs, and I can image suits staff too.
