"I am now back in recovery but my nerves are still as bad"

About: Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust / Inpatient mental health care

(as the patient),

I was taken in on a 136 to the Maxwell suite of Wotton Lawn hospital, with a nervous breakdown, their assesment was a chemical reaction, till the crisis resolution came on board to say that it was a nervous breakdown. How could they get this so wrong, just because my medical records showed that I am a alcoholic, although was in recovery before this breakdown happened, they seemed to treat me like that, than anything else.

I am now back in recovery but my nerves are still as bad, as it was treated correctly with some off the wall treatment they gave me, the information to my GP, whom in the end thought I was hearing voices from the info from them was not correct, EMDR-CBT or something like that I have been informed was performed on me, there is so much more to my story of what really happpened from begining to end, as I never saw many medics face to face for the treatment, as my nervous breakdown consisted of great fear, you can only imagine how this left me, if you could let me know where to go with all the correct info. please
