What I liked

I was admitted to the Kingswood Ward on 01/12/12 for elective bowel surgery.

I also suffer from mental health issues which makes hospital treatment and in-patient treatment in particular a difficult experience for me to deal with.

All of the staff involved in my care, from the Surgical Team to the nurses & healthcare assistants on Kingswood Ward were fantastic and understood the issues I had in addition to the surgical procedure itself.

Despite being a very busy ward, the staff on Kingswood do an amazing job of keeping on top of patient care and I have no complaints about any of the treatment or care I received.

What could be improved

My only criticism would be the hospital bedside entertainment system which is a little overpriced.

I don't feel the quality of the content reflects the price being charged to view and think a "captive audience" is being slightly taken advantage of.
