What I liked
My mother, Mary Patterson, died on ward 6 on 29th November.
I cannot praise ward6 staff enough for their care and compassion. In particular I'd like to thank her doctor.. She was professional, considerate and above all caring. The doctor is exactly how a medic should be and she will be a great asset to the NHS.
Unfortunately there was no private room available for my mother but despite that all the family were able to stay by her bedside. The nurses were so helpful , nothing was a bother to them and they made that traumatic time as bearable as it could be.
The staff on that ward work extremely hard as there are some very sick people to look after. They pull together and have real affinity with their patients.
Once again many thanks to all involved in my mother's final hours. They were as peaceful as possible and for this we will always be grateful.
