What I liked
Care. Plain and simple. I was very impressed by the way I was treated and cared for. For one who's had nothing more than a dental filling I was a little anxious. However, the procedures and options were clearly explained and were all 'my' choice. The surgeon was excellent, the options given by the anaesthetist were also clearly explained and I was given the choices as I wished. The operation was under an epidural so I was left to chat to staff during the op, a very strange situation but all the staff were there to help support and reassure you. Post op in the recovery unit was speedy and they couldn't do enough for you. Water, tea whatever you wanted. Finally back to the ward there was seemingly endless flow of nurses, carers and so on there to check on your progress. Likewise, refreshments, lunch and so on was just another part of the great service and care I received. Very impressed with the whole care package. The very least I could do is return in the following days with a couple of tins of 'Roses' for the TAU staff. Didn't seem much for what they did for me!
What could be improved
Nothing
"Excellent care and support throughout the whole..."
