What I liked
My father came to hospital as an emergency via blue light ambulance. He started in rescus within a and e. from here he was moved to the acute care ward and then onto ward 42 for elderly patients.
As an 89 year old in very ill health, often unconscious and unresponsive during his time in hospital, the staff at all times treated my father with dignity and respect. They listened to an actioned any requests our family made. They were comforting, kind and helpful. As a family we were all amazed and gratified with the care he received - and still is as a patient today.
The staff are what makes an organisation and Pindarfields excels in this. Thank you
What could be improved
I have come across one member of staff, a less skilled auxiliary nurse and I felt she was not really helpful or sufficiently qualified. This was my only complaint ad I dealt with tis by speaking to my fathers main care giver, the staff nurse.
Anything else?
Everyone is helpful, but in particular the nurses - they are absolutely WONDERFUL. Courteous, kind, thoughtful and you come away with the impression that they care about their patients a great deal.
"Pindarfields has a great staff, and it should be..."
