"An exceptional service carried out by top..."

About: St Albans City Hospital

What I liked

Having just checked on what I thought was a bad ankle sprain, I ended up leaving a couple of hours later with my lower leg in plaster and on crutches. I was treated extremely well and had excellent treatment. The nurse who carried out my initial examination and put on my plaster cast, was very friendly and professional. This was an excellent example of what the NHS does best.

What could be improved

Perhaps an easier route to the X-ray department with better signage.

Now my life for the next few weeks will be very different, I wonder whether there might have been a leaflet about what you can and can't do and how those around you will have greater responsibilities.

Anything else?

None

Thankyou for taking the time to comment on your hospital experience with us. We’re delighted to hear that all went so smoothly at the Minor Injuries Unit from start to finish, and you felt you were in such friendly and capable hands!

Your comments (both positive and constructive) have of course been passed onto the Minor Injuries team, who were delighted to receive them. All the best with your recovery.
