What I liked
I was admitted for a total gastrectomy on Nov 14 Th. the operation went to plan and was put on the HDU for a couple of days then moved on to ward 11. (For people who do not know what the op entails its a total removal of the stomach.)
The treatment by doctors and staff was outstanding I cannot praise them enough, I am certain that due to there care and compassion and expertise I was given that I was able to be discharged by Nov 20 Th. Just 6 days later .
The reason I had the operation was that I had stomach cancer ,hopefully this is the beginning of a future that at the beginning of the year was not an option.
I could go on about the way I was treated , all I can say is many thanks to all of you from myself and family you did me proud and your good selves.
What a Christmas present X
"Outstanding hospital from a very grateful patient."
