I moved to Manchester, Trafford a few years ago. I didn't seen any ending to my drug use at all. I'd say I would never change I was who I was.

Thankfully I was wrong, as I am now on the right road to recovery and have got my life back, thanks too the help of ADS, and doing Intuitive Recovery also Bridge In The Gap in Trafford which was the course that made me realise what I wanted out of life and has give me the confidence and tools to get somewhere where I want to go.

The Bridge In The Gap course was the turning point for me. It made me think of where I am and where I want to be and I never in a million years thought I would be saying I want to be a mentor, do volunteer work and get into work where I can use my past as my strength and help someone else.

I would recommend people to do Bridge In The Gap if they get the chance grab it. I had to be in the right frame of mind and strong in myself to no that it was the right stage in my recovery to do it. Take advantage of what is on offer, as I didn't for 16yrs+ until I finally hit rock bottom, but you have to hit rock bottom to work your way back up.

So use what is out there as there's something for everyone in recovery, I have and I've never looked back. I have life, love getting up each mornings, making new friends, my journey has only just started and have come along way in such a short space of time. Love yourself, Love recovery! ! !
