About: Southern General Hospital / General Medicine

(as the patient),

I was admitted to southern general after a stroke

I was in hospital 8 months. The staff could not have done any more for me, they were great. Duty care brilliant nurses wonderful. Doctors first class.

I could not have got better treatment if I went private, thanks nhs for my support to recovery never forget treatment.

One nurse was smiling joking every day kept my spirits high.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to provide your very kind feedback.

I will ensure that this is passed on to those involved and I am sure that they will be very pleased to read your comments.

I am sorry that this posting was not acknowledged at the time, we had a break in our use of Patient Opinion, but we have now resumed doing so, and I thought it was still important to acknowledge your posting and where appropriate to pass comments on.

Once again, thank you for using the Patient Opinion feedback system, it is greatly appreciated.

I know that all of the staff at the Southern General Hospital who took care of you while you recovered from your illness will be delighted to read your very thoughtful and warm remarks.
