About: Royal Bolton Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as the patient),

I was a patient on D4 at the Royal Bolton hospital as I was having trouble with my asthma.

I was consulted on every aspect of my treatment and given excellent help and advice.

I had to wait 5 days to be admitted on to the respiratory, so this could have been quicker.

Staff nurse Caroline Lofthouse sat with me in the night when I was at my lowest, frightened, unable to breathe. She showed me how to care for my asthma and to be strong. The whole nursing team on D4 was very supportive!
