"Physiotherapy care has made all the difference"

I recently suffered hip and lower back pain, this was put down to a ruptured disc caused by my employer.

I went to see my local GP. At first nothing was done, and then I was fortunate enough to speak to a GP who was interested in what, why and how it pain had happened. After a long consultation she referred me to my local NHS physiotherapy unit at Lowe House Medical Centre in St Helens.

The staff there were always very helpful and courteous. They taught me about my spine and the type of injury I had suffered, they then taught me how to deal with the injury, both with pain management tablets and with regular hands on treatment. My physio Emma also gave me plenty of homework to do to strengthen my core.

Well, its now 8 months down the line and I have made a full recovery!

Thank you so much to all the staff involved in my recovery. Thanks to them I am now back working better than ever, and I am back in the gym armed with a whole new box of tools to keep my from further injury.
