"My collapsing veins"

About: Colchester General Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

My problem is I go into hospital for a procedure, they put a cannula in my arm and when they flush it I'm crying out in pain. They just stand there not knowing what to do.

They start blaming me, saying how important the procedure is and that I'm fussing. So I'm cancelled.

My question is does anybody know why my veins are doing this and how to stop this happening?
