I did not have to wait long from the visit to my GP and my referral booking. I was dealt with to my satisfaction at the hospital, and the consultant was very informative about my options.
Had my appointment on at the end of Oct and a blood test which the consultant said would be sent to my GP. More than two weeks later and have just been told by a nurse at my GP's that no letter or blood results have been received there yet. Is this normal? I can have a blood test at my surgery and the results will be back in 5 days. I could have done this 2 weeks ago and seen my GP last week.
