"Nursing staff pressuring me to eat even though I have part of my stomach removed"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I felt the nursing staff who cared for me at North Staffs were terrible.

I had not eaten for 7 and a half months and 24 hours after having part of my stomach removed. They were forcing me to eat Weetabix, brown bread and tomato soup. I felt they just wanted to be able to say that I had eaten and clear the bed.
