What could be improved
My mother was taken into the balcombe ward a week ago. I am working away so have little time to visit her and I am her only son. The only day I have been able to visit was on Fridays so went on Fri 23.11.12 and Fri 16th was told visting hours were 15.00 to 17.00 so made sure I was there at 15.00 so I could spend time with her. Last week as I arrived they decided to take her away for xrays she was gone for 45 minutes. I arrived today with my daught was there for twenty minutes and they took her away for more test. I was furious and made a complaint at the reception. What is the purpose of set times of visting when clearly the hospital ignores the fact we plan around these times but clearly they do not !

I in general have a great deal of respect for the NHS
