What I liked
Really impressed with the professionalism, supportiveness and light-heartedness of the staff. Was put on an emergency waiting list for a perianal abscess which made it difficult for me to sit down comfortably and made me feel lethargic and moody (this and not being able to eat). In spite of this the nurses did all they could to make sure I was comfortable and I was dealt with really well, on top the workload they were already dealing with.
What could be improved
The waiting times, don't know the reasons for this and the staff certainly tried their hardest in dealing with the timescales. But had to do two day surgeries, was dealt with very early on day two so am very happy with that.
