What I liked

Seen quickly by nurse. Surgical doctor who saw me was capable and knowledgeable. I felt confident that my needs would be met.

What could be improved

Spending all night in A&E on a trolley was not much fun. Medical Doctor in A&E never came to see me but despite this he briefed the surgical doctor (within my earshot). Some of the things that he did not know, he could have found out by simply asking me. He had had all night to do this - and was not busy all of the time as he was chatting to other staff for some of the time.
