About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

What I liked

My wife was taken to the resuscitation unit with a brain haemorrhage late afternoon. Within two hours she had been stabilised and arrangements made for her to be transferred to QMC for an emergency operation. This was completed during the night, she is currently recovering at QMC in Nottingham.

Anything else?

We were impressed with the work of the department as the beds were always full and there were patients waiting outside before they were able to enter the serious injury section of A&E.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment which has been passed on to the emergency department team.

I am glad to hear that your wife is now recovering and we wish you all the best.
