(as the patient),

I have recently had a knee replacement by Mr. Ali at Ormskirk Hospital.

The hospital was very clean, the nursing staff and theatre staff were very caring. At no time was I concerned with contracting an infection.

The after-care by the physios and district nurse was also very well organised and efficient. I attended Southport Hospital for physio exercises and I now have a very good bend in my knee!

Thank you to all concerned.

Dear Jannette,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your comments. I have passed them on to Mr Ali and the physios, I'm sure they will appreciate your thanks.

I will also pass your comments on to our infection control team and the cleaning staff who work very hard to ensure our infection rates are kept as low as possible.

I hope your knee bend continues to improve!
