"referral to physio about knee"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I have arthritis in my knee and I was getting extreme pain when cartilidge or something in that area of the knee was getting caught. The pain would last from 20 minutes up to 6hrs and I could not walk or put any weight on my leg. My knee problem is at least 5 years old and getting worse in the past few months. I cannot walk far with crutches and no where without them except at home where I hold on to furniture etc. The doctor sent me for physio. I had 2 appointments with the physio telling me to do specific exercises to help build up the muscles around my knee.

TRAQS are a new service providing help and support for the patients registered with GPs within the NHS Telford and Wrekin area when they require a referral to a hospital or community clinic for further treatment.

We value all feedback as it helps us to develop the TRAQS service further.

We hope that your physiotherapy has helped to improve your condition and you are feeling better after your appointments.

Thank you for taking the time to reply and give us some feedback
