yesterday I was due a visit from district nurse who decided during the morning that she was "unable to attend" I was not told of this and at this moment 10. 00 am this morning I have no idea when or IF the nurse will be coming.
The call centre will not reply even if you hang on for 55 mins. The manager seems to be on permanent A/PHONE and does not respond to messages left. The team leader will not reply to requests for call back.
Generally I have found the standard of district nursing in the Deptford area is pretty darn poor. It is not unusual for the nurse to come with no dressings to dress the ulcer with!
