(as the patient),

We had our daughter at East Surrey in September 2012 by C-section. We wanted to write to express our gratitude to the team.

After having complications with a previous C-section, we were both extremely anxious. The team made us feel at ease, took our concerns seriously and were wonderful throughout. And not forgetting the wonderful team on the ward.

Going into this experience feeling extreme trepidation, it is wonderful to come out the other end having had a beautiful birth. We really cannot thank everyone enough for their professionalism, care and kindness.

The staff we encountered are a credit to East Surrey Hospital.
