What I liked
I was a patient on ward 46 at the rvi and have to commend the whole staff team who cared for me. The staff were attentive and very friendly but professional with the care I received. I was very upset at one point ( not through anything in particular, just emotional) but the Sister came and chatted to me and instantly put me at ease, explaining that this was normal and that if I ever needed to speak to someone that she, and other staff were there for me. No matter how busy the staff were they always had time to answer questions and put me at ease. I was also impressed with the standard of cleanliness of what appeared to be a very busy ward.I was astounded at the amount of cleaning all of the staff did. Sister, nurses, healthcares all cleaned the ward. So a huge thank you to everyone on ward 46 who looked after me so well and helped me through a really scary, difficult time.
What could be improved
There is nothing I could say, with regards to my care, that could be improved.
"Very high standard of care and a supportive,caring..."
