What I liked

The staff on Wilson Ward could not be more helpful. I'm a regular patient to that ward due to a lung condition, and the staff always do their best to make my stay as easy as possible. They would always have time to sit and talk to you and make you a cup of tea and always valued your opinion. They are friendly and very caring.

What could be improved

Communication between the doctors and nursing staff could be improved. Doctors do not communicate their instructions and plans on many occasions which delays treatment. This has only happened on two occasions though, but it is something that is found throughout the NHS and is not isolated to just this hospital or ward.

Anything else?

I believe Wilson ward to be one of the best wards in Wythenshawe Hospital. The staff are caring, polite and kind and can never do enough to help. The doctors always keep me involved in my care and take my opinion on board while treating me which helps build up the confidence I have in my team and the care.
