In January of this year, I attended the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for a gastroscopy. In my opinion, the standard of care was poor. The NHS is free at point of need, but you are left waiting a very long time for the service. Mine was a simple straight-forward procedure, yet I was left waiting a very long time before I was told about the results of my operation. Can we please go back to the type of service we used to get when the Queen's Medical Centre opened in the 1970s?
