"not completely satisfied with referral system"

I was told I would be contacted within 5 working days for an appointment to be made. I waited 7 and heard nothing so I called TRAC. I was told my case has not been sent to triage and it would be another 3 days. I was offered 4 hospitals to choose from, but not told which one had the earliest appointment. My appointment was 5 weeks away, so I am assuming my problem is low risk, although painful. Also I was told that someone had tried to contact me, but not by my mobile which I said was the best way to contact me.
